Group achieves ISO 45001 health & safety standard
Danaher & Walsh Group has achieved the ISO 45001 standard for occupational health & safety management.
The new standard, developed by a committee of occupational health and safety experts, supercedes OHSAS 18001, the standard to which Danaher & Walsh has successfully held certification since 2006.
The British Standards Institute (BSI) will officially withdraw OHSAS 18001 in March 2021. Danaher & Walsh took the decision to migrate to the new standard early.
Speaking about attaining certification to the new standard, SHEQ Manager Sue Southam said: "Occupational health & safety is very high priority within our organisation.
"We're very proud to have migrated to the new standard early, which I think demonstrates our commitment to adopting best practice in health & safety management."
