Employee Appreciation Scheme proves a hit with staff

Danaher & Walsh has launched its Employee Appreciation Scheme, which sees staff post notes of thanks and appreciation to colleagues.

Any employee can nominate any colleague, and their comments are distributed across the business in a Feel Good Friday bulletin.

The scheme provides a way for staff for signal their appreciation for their colleagues for any number of reasons. Part of D&W's wider Mental Health Awareness initiative, the scheme exists to boost morale and to help ensure hard work and positive behaviour is recognised.

The scheme is being driven by Danaher & Walsh's proactive team of trained Mental Health First Aiders, who are working on a number of initiatives centred around employee mental health and wellbeing.

Launched in February this year, the scheme has been well used by staff and has received very positive feedback.
