Coventry AQP team makes food bank donation
The site team at the Coventry Air Quality Project highway works scheme has made a sizeable donation to Coventry Food Bank.
The donation has been timed to coincide with the school Easter holidays, during which food bank demand is typically higher then normal.
The items donated include food and supplies, which will contribute towards the items needed to help support around 450 families every week. Owing to the success of the initiative, further donations are planned.
The AQP project, which will provide a range of transport improvements in central Coventry, is being delivered by Danaher & Walsh Civil Engineering and Balfour Beatty on behalf of Coventry City Council.
The joint project team has made a commitment to delivering social value to the local community throughout the scheme.
