Danaher & Walsh APS is the first company in the UK to take delivery of the SpeedyLight+ UV LED pipeline curing system.

The high-tech system, produced by Spanish robotic engineering specialists Sewertronics, enables curing of CIPP (cured-in-place-pipe) liners in a fraction of the time of other available methods. The SpinLight rotating curing head enables curing speeds of up to one metre per minute.

The acquisition forms part of a major investment in new technologies. The system has been supplied by D&W APS' supply partner RSM Lining, the exclusive UK distributor for Sewertonics.

Danaher & Walsh APS is pioneering the use of LED UV curing, which is inherently faster and safer than other methods of curing pipe liners. As well as SpeedyLight+, APS has acquired a UV patching system, which features LED curing heads inside a translucent, inflatable packer.

Speaking about the investment, Danaher & Walsh Group Managing Director Dan Danaher said: "We want to embrace the very latest technology in the pipeline rehabilitation industry.

"We are delighted to be first in the UK to take delivery of this fantastic system, which will enable us to deliver industry-leading levels of service to our customers."
