Key aims and challenges

The original wrought iron footbridge was demolished and a brand new 42m span steel bridge installed. Concrete abutments were constructed as well as the approach footpath and ramps. Lighting and CCTV were also installed.


How did we do?

All works were completed without disruption to the busy railway network. The lifting into position of the main steel fabrication took place at night.
