RoSPA Gold Award
Posted: May 2010
We were awarded with a coveted RoSPA Gold Award at a ceremony held at the Birmingham Metropole Hotel on Wednesday May 12th by Lord Brougham & Vaux.
Sue Southam our QUENSH Co-ordinator said, after receiving the award, "We always set high standards for ourselves and are committed to protecting not only the health of our employees but also their wellbeing. Gaining this award was all about demonstrating what we were already doing and it is good to know that we are doing the right things to the highest standards. Every one of our employees played a part in our success and each one should be proud of what they have achieved."
The Gold Award is one of the highest RoSPA awards and David Rawlins, their Award Manager, has nothing but praise for the achievement. "The Danaher & Walsh Group Limited has shown a commitment to protecting the health and wellbeing of its employees and others. Organisations which do this deserve to have such dedication recognised. As well as there being clear ethical and legal reasons for good health and safety management, there is also a strong business case. RoSPA is delighted to publically honour organisations which have demonstrated their work to improve performance in the public sphere."
