Danaher & Walsh are a long established financially secure Civil Engineering and Plant Hire business based in Leicester. We pride ourselves on the quality of our plant operators, the quality of our fleet of modern excavators, and the first class backup service which is provided by our plant mechanics.

We require a fully qualified, time served plant fitter with proven experience to service and maintain fleet of Kubota, JCB & Caterpillar excavators together with fleet of commercial vehicles and small plant.

You will be required to maintain plant at our workshop premises as well as on our customer's sites. Opportunities for progression to Workshop Supervisor are available for right candidate.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work under their own initiative and will have a strong work ethic. A high regard for safety is also essential. You will have experience in hydraulic & electrical systems and petrol & diesel engines and possess fault finding/diagnostic skills. A full clean driving licence is essential and an HGV licence and advantage. A CSCS card is also desirable.

You must be prepared to work overtime as the needs of the business dictate. The hours are full time, 8 hours per day Monday to Friday with Saturday morning as overtime when required.
