Redhill Flyover and the Watermead Way Bridge, built in the late nineteen seventies were strengthened, waterproofed and resurfaced to bring them up to the current standards with the vehicle parpets being replaced at the same time.
The works were completed three months ahead of the contract period following a programme appraisal which required an extended closure of the route rather than a partial opening of the carriageway. |
