ISO 14000

The ISO14000 environmental management standards exist to help organisations (a) minimise how their operations (processes, etc.) negatively affect the environment (i.e. cause adverse changes to air, water, or land); (b) comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements, and (c) continually improve in the above.

BS OHSAS 18001

BS OHSAS 18001:2007 is the International Occupational Health and Safety Management Standard.

BS OHSAS 18001 provides a framework to the effective management of OH&S including compliance with the legislation that applies to your activities and identified hazards.

RoSPA

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a British charity which aims to promote safety. It is particularly known for its vocal campaigns on issues of road safety.

Constructionline

Constructionline is a public private partnership between the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (formerly the DTI) and Capita Business Services. As a national online database, it is the UK's largest register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants. Its aim is to improve efficiencies for buyers and suppliers in the construction industry, specifically by reducing the duplication of work and administration relating to the process of pre-qualifying suppliers for construction contracts
